Props and costume

Male Clothes are quite stereotypical for a male teenager to wear, they are of current fashion and many teenagers can be seen wearing items, like these, this is to show the character is just a normal teenager, and this situation can happen to anybody.

Another item which can be seen as iconography and is seen typically in the romantic comedy genre, is the common object of a female after a one night-stand this is done so the audience can understand the seriousness of the situation. Showing the result of the pregnancy test allowed us to have more options on camera angles, for example we were able to use an extreme closeup on the results.

This piece of clothing like the male clothing items are quite common in females cupboards and this is to show that the characters are everyday people and to show the realism of the situation and that this could happen to anyone.

Film Poster Logo by Manasseh Dalton-Brown

We have decided to use this as our film logo design as it is simple but is very effective, the red large font really stands out and draws the audiences attention. Also the handwriting is quite simple and easy to read with a special font on the letter U which makes it more interesting and effective

Film Trailer, Magazine Front Cover and Film Poster Analysis - Sebastian Begueria

Production Company Logo Design by Sebastian Begueria

I chose this logo design as it is quite simple and it grabs the audiences' attention. I feel that it stands out from others and it makes it independant from other films similar in the same industry. I chose the text for 'White Snake Productions' on dafont.com which I liked and felt that it was suitable for the logo design. 'White Snake' is in a bold, white font which shows off the repsentation of what the title is.

Trailer Analysis by Manasseh Dalton-Brown

The text frames in the film trailer ‘The Dark Knight’ are specifically chosen to catch the viewer's eye and tell a story. At the beginning of the trailer the music is very quiet and the first bit of dialogue “There’s a storm coming” this line foreshadows that something dangerous is going to happen. The quietness of the music makes the atmosphere very tense, and also the trailer begins quite slowly to introduce the characters. As the trailer progresses so does the music, which gradually gets louder and a lot more atmospheric creating a very dangerous feeling.
The scene uses special effects and changes the speed of the scene depending on what is going on. When the fight starts the trailer turns to fast music and it show glimpses of the fight and other scenes of action. There are very few text frames so dialogue from parts of the film are used to drive the story forward

Location planning

Bedroom
We chose this location as the bedroom that will feature in the trailer because it will show the age of the characters, their personalitys and their gender.

Hallway

park
We chose this because we thought it would be fitting as a location for our trailer. In the trailer we show that the pregant teen, might be lonely or upset. Therefore, i think this location is perfect because it is generally quiet and almost stranded at times where know one is about, conveying that she feels alone just like the park.

Magazine Cover Analysis by Manasseh Dalton-Brown

Friends with benefits is a romantic comedy about two friends who make a proposition that will benefit both them, but however both seem to start to break the rules and start to fall for each other. Throughout the film, you can recognise distinct features that would help us to figure out quickly what genre the film is.

In the start of the trailer, it starts with upbeat and fun music which could possibly convey what kind of movie it is. It also starts with quick transitions between two different dates and how much of a disaster they were. Soon after the transitions start to slow down, showing lengthy conversations between the two main characters. This could possibly convey that their lives have changed once meeting each other.
